High Definition Multimedia Interface, LLC
HMDI, LLC was formed by a number of leading industry manufacturers with the goal of defining the next-generation digital interface specification for consumer electronics products. Backed by some of the industry's biggest names, High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) enables true high-definition audio/video content for consumers. Content providers, system operators and consumer electronics manufacturers are rallying behind a standard that will finally deliver on DTV's long-awaited promises.HDMI is also supported by major motion picture producers, as well as satellite and cable companies.
HDMI combines high-definition video and multi-channel audio in a single digital interface to provide crystal-clear digital quality over a single cable. One cable for audio and video dramatically simplifies home theater system installation and eliminates the cable mess behind entertainment system components. HDMI offers significant advantages over analog A/V connections, including the ability to transmit uncompressed digital video and audio content.

MIPI
The Mobile Industry Processor Interface (MIPI) Alliance is an open membership organization that includes leading companies in the mobile industry that share the objective of defining and promoting open specifications for interfaces in mobile terminals. MIPI Specifications establish standards for hardware and software interfaces between the processors and peripherals typically found in mobile terminal systems. By defining such standards and encouraging their adoption throughout the industry value chain, the MIPI Alliance intends to reduce fragmentation and improve interoperability among system components, benefiting the entire mobile industry.
The MIPI Alliance is intended to complement existing standards bodies such as the Open Mobile Alliance and 3GPP, with a focus on microprocessors, peripherals and software interfaces.

Electrostatic Discharge Association
Founded in 1982, the ESD Association is a professional voluntary association dedicated to advancing the theory and practice of electrostatic discharge (ESD) avoidance. From fewer than 100 members, the Association has grown to more than 2,000 members throughout the world. From an initial emphasis on the effects of ESD on electronic components, the Association has broadened its horizons to include areas such as textiles, plastics, web processing, cleanrooms, and graphic arts. To meet the needs of a continually changing environment, the Association is chartered to expand ESD awareness through standards development, educational programs, local chapters, publications, tutorials, certification, and symposia.
